Yesterday and today (January 7/8, 2026), police officers from the Public Security Bureau of Štip and the Public Security Bureau of Tetovo conducted preventive activities for safe traffic.
Today in Štip and Berovo, police officers from the Police Station for Public Safety of Štip and the Police Station for Public Safety of Berovo, under the motto "Use winter equipment," emphasized to drivers the necessity of adhering to traffic rules and regulations, particularly the obligation to use winter equipment from November 15, 2025, to March 15, 2026, as well as the penalties prescribed for non-compliance with the laws and the potential consequences that may arise. In Kočani, police officers from the Police Station for Public Safety of Kočani carried out a preventive activity titled "Park Conscientiously," informing citizens about the consequences that may occur if vehicles are improperly parked, thus occupying areas designated for pedestrian and cyclist movement.
Yesterday, police officers from the Prevention Department of the Public Security Bureau of Tetovo, in collaboration with police officers from the Police Station for Public Safety of Tetovo, conducted a preventive activity at the toll station Želino and the toll station Tetovo, coordinated with the Republic of North Macedonia's Traffic Safety Agency and the Faculty of Security - Skopje, aimed at raising awareness among citizens about the need to respect traffic rules and regulations, thereby enhancing safety on the streets and roads.
