Today (05.01.2026), police officers from the Štip Police Department carried out preventive traffic-related activities at several locations within the territory of the Štip Police Department.
In Probištip, police officers from the Probištip Police Station, as part of preventive activities under the slogans “Use Winter Equipment”, “Do Not Use a Mobile Phone While Driving” and “Drive Responsibly, Travel Safely”, through direct communication and distribution of educational leaflets, emphasized to drivers the need to comply with traffic rules and regulations in order to increase road safety. Special emphasis was placed on the use of winter equipment, which is mandatory in the period from 15 November 2025 to 15 March 2026, as well as on the harmful consequences that may arise if drivers use mobile phones while operating vehicles. Drivers were also informed about the sanctions prescribed for non-compliance with the law.
Preventive activities for road safety were also carried out in Vinica, Delčevo, Berovo and Pehčevo, with an emphasis on the prohibition of driving under the influence of alcohol, as well as on other traffic rules and regulations.
In the territory of Sveti Nikole, police officers from the Sveti Nikole Police Station conducted a preventive activity aimed at raising public awareness about the harmful consequences of using weapons and pyrotechnic devices. As part of the activity, citizens were provided with educational leaflets, and were informed about the potential harmful consequences, as well as the legal regulations and prescribed sanctions.
