Assistant minister in Ministry of internal affairs of Republic of North Macedonia

Date and place of birth: 16.05.1971 in Kumanovo

 

Education:

Graduated from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University – Faculty of Economics in Skopje in 1996 and acquired the title of graduated economist.

 

Work Experience:

Since his employment in the Ministry in 1998 until today, he has been engaged in the Ministry in the positions listed below:

  • 1998–2003: Inspector for economic crime in the Skopje Police Department (SVR Skopje)

  • 2003–2005: Advisor and Senior Advisor for material operations in the Ministry of Internal Affairs

  • 2005–2007: Head of the Department for Procurement in the Ministry of Internal Affairs

  • 2007–2012: Senior Advisor – Head of the Unit for Payment Operations in the Ministry of Internal Affairs

  • 2012–2013: Head of the Department for Budget Coordination in the Ministry of Internal Affairs

  • 2013–2015: Head of the Department for Budget Control in the Ministry of Internal Affairs

  • 2015–2016: Head of the Sector for Budget Coordination and Control

  • 2016–2018: Head of the Department for Budget Control in the Ministry of Internal Affairs

  • 2018–2019: Head of the Sector for Budget Coordination and Control

 

The Department for Financial Affairs consists of two Sectors:

  • Sector for Budget Coordination and Control, responsible for the preparation of the ministry’s draft budget and monitoring of the budget execution, preparation of decisions for internal budget allocation within the MoIA, monitoring timely payment of expenditures in accordance with the procedures for commitment of obligations and execution of payments, cash operations, etc.

  • Sector for Accounting, Inventory and Salaries, responsible for the calculation and payment of salaries, accounting registration of all financial transactions, preparation of the final financial report, conducting the inventory of the MoIA, etc.

 

Throughout his career, he has participated in a large number of domestic and international trainings, seminars, and courses in the field of public finance, obtaining international certificates, such as:

  • Certificate for enabling fiscal programming in structural reforms from the Center of Excellence in Finance in Ljubljana, Slovenia

  • Certificate for Public Finance Management within the MATRA Pre-Accession Training Programme for strengthening institutional capacities for the rule of law in The Hague, Netherlands
