Today (29 March 2026), the Prevention Unit of the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs, in cooperation with the Republic Council for Road Traffic Safety, carried out two traffic-preventive activities in the area of the Petrovec Police Unit, specifically at the Miladinovci toll station, under the slogans “Don’t use your phone while driving” and “Wear a seatbelt.”
As part of the activities, police officers distributed educational leaflets to drivers, containing messages on responsible driving in accordance with applicable legal regulations, the mandatory use of seatbelts while operating a motor vehicle, and the need to adjust speed to road conditions—all aimed at raising traffic safety awareness.
Today, the Kočani Police Department also conducted a preventive activity under the slogan “Don’t be a silent witness—report violence.” Through direct communication, citizens were encouraged not to remain silent but to report violence in order to help victims. They were also advised to teach children empathy, respect, love, and tolerance, and to openly discuss peer violence. Educational leaflets were distributed as part of this campaign.
