Today (March 1, 2026), police officers from the Prevention Unit and the Tetovo Public Safety Station at the Tetovo Police Department conducted a preventive activity on the topic "Buckle Up" at the toll booth in the village of Zelino on the Tetovo - Skopje highway. Through direct communication, citizens were reminded of their obligation to use seat belts in vehicles and to strictly adhere to all traffic rules and regulations.
The use of seat belts is a legal requirement for both drivers and passengers in vehicles, aimed at enhancing their personal safety and significantly reducing the consequences in the event of a traffic accident. Drivers were also provided with educational leaflets.
