Today (March 2, 2026), the Prevention Department of the Skopje Police Department, in collaboration with the National Council for Road Traffic Safety, conducted a traffic-preventive activity in the area of the Chair Police Station under the motto "Use Winter Equipment" and "Buckle Up."
As part of the activities on "Macedonian-Kosovo Brigade" Street, police officers distributed educational leaflets to drivers, created in cooperation with the National Council for Road Traffic Safety, containing messages about responsible vehicle management in winter conditions and in accordance with positive legal regulations, as well as the mandatory use of seat belts while operating a motor vehicle.Additionally, at the "Aco Šopov" elementary school in the Chair area, an educational workshop on "Types of Violence and Violence Prevention" was held. During this, students were introduced to the concept of violence, the types of violence, and the ways to protect themselves and report violence. The occurrence of violent behavior among students in schools was particularly emphasized. Today, police officers from the Štip Traffic Safety Police Station conducted a preventive activity on the theme "Park Responsibly, Park Safely."
The primary goal of the activity was to increase traffic culture, aiming for maximum adherence to traffic rules and regulations, as well as strengthening trust and cooperation between the police and citizens. Meanwhile, police officers from the Delčevo Police Station and the Regional Center for Border Affairs East held an educational lecture on "Prevention of Alcohol and Drugs" at the "Kliment Ohridski" elementary school in Delčevo, which included ninth-grade students, where they were informed through a presentation about legal regulations and the consequences of using cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs.
