Today (September 22, 2026) in Kumanovo, Gostivar, Stip, Delcevo, Berovo, Sveti Nikole, Probistip, Vinica, and Kochani, preventive activities were carried out aimed at improving traffic safety. In Gostivar, Stip, Delcevo, Berovo, Probistip, Vinica, and Sveti Nikole, police officers conducted preventive activities as part of the celebration of European Mobility Week (September 16–22). Through direct communication, citizens were reminded of the importance of adhering to traffic rules and regulations, as well as increasing the level of traffic culture, and more frequently using alternative modes of transportation, such as bicycles. As part of the activities, printed educational materials were distributed. At the same time, trained police officers explained to students from "Slavejko Arsov" Primary School in Stip how to navigate traffic safely, ensuring they could get from school to home and back.
The Prevention Department of the Police Department in Kumanovo conducted a preventive activity to raise awareness about the necessity of respecting traffic rules, particularly urging drivers to adjust their speed according to traffic signs and road conditions.
