Today (September 21, 2026) in Veles, police officers from the Prevention Department of the SVR Veles conducted a preventive activity titled "Say No to Drugs," aimed at raising awareness about the harmful consequences of addiction-related diseases, as well as the methods and approaches that should be utilized in addressing these issues.
In Prilep, Veles, and Čaška, police officers from the OVK Prilep and SVR Veles carried out preventive activities to protect against thefts, frauds, and robberies, during which they advised citizens through direct communication on how to safeguard their homes and be vigilant with their personal belongings.
Police officers from the PS BPS Veles conducted a preventive activity on the theme "Do Not Use Your Mobile Phone While Driving," highlighting to drivers the risks associated with using a mobile phone while operating vehicles, as well as the necessity of consistently adhering to all traffic rules. In Štip and Sveti Nikole, police officers from the SVR Štip implemented preventive activities as part of the celebration of European Mobility Week (September 16–22). Through direct communication, the importance of respecting traffic rules and regulations was emphasized to citizens, aiming to enhance the level of traffic culture and encourage more frequent use of alternative means of transportation. As part of the activities, printed educational materials were distributed.
The Prevention Department of the SVR Kumanovo in Kumanovo carried out a preventive activity to combat hate speech and violent behavior, primarily targeting the younger population.
