Through direct communication, citizens were informed about the importance of complying with traffic rules and regulations, thereby contributing to improving the level of traffic culture, as well as about the importance of more frequent use of alternative means of transport. Educational printed materials, prepared in cooperation with the Republic Council for Road Traffic Safety and the Faculty of Security – Skopje, were also distributed to citizens.
Meanwhile, yesterday in Kumanovo, the Prevention Unit within the Kumanovo Sector for Internal Affairs, in cooperation with the Municipal Prevention Council, organized “Games Without Borders”. Through play, children socialized with one another and were given useful advice on how to protect themselves from various forms of deviant behaviour, particularly peer violence.
