Today (September 4, 2026) at the city market in Štip, police officers from the Prevention Department of the Štip Police Department and the Štip Public Security Office conducted a preventive activity titled "Let’s Protect Ourselves from Pickpocketing." Through direct communication with citizens, the police officers informed them about ways to protect themselves from property crimes, emphasizing the necessity of timely and accurate reporting to the police. Informational flyers were also distributed to the citizens.
Police officers from the Prevention Department of the Skopje Police Department carried out a preventive activity focused on pedestrian safety in the central area of Skopje, reminding them that as active participants in traffic, they are obligated to respect traffic rules and regulations, and should cross the street at designated crosswalks, avoiding the use of headphones and mobile phones. Pedestrians should be particularly cautious during evening hours when moving in poorly lit areas. Educational printed materials were also distributed to the citizens.
