Today (September 3, 2026), in the areas of Resen, Delchevo, and Berovo, police officers from the Police Station in Resen, the Police Station in Berovo, and the Police Station in Delchevo carried out preventive activities to prevent fires. Through direct communication, citizens were advised not to light fires outdoors, not to discard cigarette butts, and to immediately report any fire they notice by calling 112. Farmers were reminded of the need to carefully carry out agricultural work, with an emphasis on the dangers of causing fires by burning borders, stubble with dry grass, and waste in fields.
They were also informed that causing fires is a criminal offense, which is appropriately sanctioned by law. Educational materials were distributed to the citizens.
