Today (June 1, 2026), police officers from the Prevention Department of the Skopje Police Department conducted a preventive activity titled "Don't Leave Valuables in Your Car" in the area of the Center Police Station. The police officers, in direct communication with citizens, advised them not to leave valuable items in parked cars to prevent the possibility of serious thefts from passenger vehicles. Citizens were also informed about prevention methods in close cooperation with the police, and educational printed materials containing informative content were distributed, emphasizing that any suspicious case should be reported to the police station.
In Probishtip, police officers from the Probishtip Police Department carried out preventive activities to prevent fires and illegal logging. The police officers, in conversation with citizens, highlighted the need for maximum diligence and care for the forest resources. Citizens were also informed that illegal logging and causing fires are criminal offenses that are legally sanctioned. Printed educational materials, created in collaboration with the Public Enterprise "National Forests," were distributed to the citizens.
In Shtip and Sveti Nikole, police officers from the Shtip Traffic Police Station conducted preventive activities under the mottos "Wear a Helmet, Drive Carefully" and "Park Responsibly." The aim of these activities was to enhance traffic culture by reminding individuals of the rules and responsibilities for careful and responsible participation in traffic. Moped and motorcycle riders were reminded of the obligation to wear a protective helmet, both for themselves and for their passengers. As part of the activities, educational materials were distributed, created in collaboration with the National Road Safety Council and the Faculty of Security – Skopje.
