Additionally, police officers from the PS BPS Veles carried out a preventive activity titled "Don't Forget, We Are All Pedestrians, Be Responsible in Traffic," aimed at both pedestrians and drivers. The goal of the activity is to influence the increase of traffic culture by reminding about traffic rules, regulations, and obligations for careful and responsible participation in traffic, as well as cautious driving near pedestrian crossings, which are key factors for the safety of the most vulnerable category of traffic participants—pedestrians.
Pedestrians were emphasized that they should only cross the street at marked pedestrian crossings, avoiding the use of headphones and mobile phones, and to be cautious, especially in the evening hours when moving in poorly lit areas. In Shtip, police officers from the SVR Shtip conducted a preventive activity on proper parking. As part of the activities, printed educational materials were also distributed, created in collaboration with the National Council for Road Traffic Safety and the Faculty of Security in Skopje.
