Today (May 14, 2026), police officers from the Prevention Department of the SVR Veles conducted a preventive activity in the Veles area aimed at enhancing the level of traffic culture among drivers regarding proper parking. Additionally, police officers from the PS BPS Veles carried out a preventive activity under the motto "Wear a helmet, ride responsibly," reminding everyone of the traffic rules, regulations, and obligations for careful and responsible participation in traffic, as well as increasing the safety of moped and motorcycle riders. Drivers were reminded of the obligation to wear a protective helmet, which applies to both them and their passengers, emphasizing that every participant in traffic is equally responsible for their own safety as well as the safety of all other traffic participants. Preventive activities for safe traffic were also conducted by police officers from the SVR Stip in Delcevo, Kochani, the village of Lozovo, and Berovo. As part of these activities, printed educational materials were distributed, created in collaboration with the National Council for Road Traffic Safety and the Faculty of Security in Skopje.
On May 13, 2026, police officers from the SVR Strumica-OVR Radovish carried out a preventive activity with the children from the JOUGD "Aco Karamanov" in Radovish. During the activity, the kindergarten children had the opportunity to get acquainted with some of the equipment and uniforms worn by police officers, as well as the role of the police in protecting citizens. At the same time, the children learned about basic traffic concepts, traffic signs, rules, and regulations, specifically how they should behave as pedestrians or when riding a bicycle.
