Emphasis was placed on the obligation for regular maintenance and technical soundness of vehicles, as a key prerequisite for safe participation in traffic. Police officers from the Public Safety Police at the Police Station in Veles carried out a preventive activity under the theme "Park Conscientiously, Park Responsibly," during which drivers were reminded that proper parking of vehicles is of utmost importance for safety in traffic. In Kochani and Stip, motorcyclists were reminded of their obligation to wear protective helmets, while drivers were informed about the consequences that may arise if they use their phones while driving.
At the Primary School "Strasho Pinzhur" in Negotino, a simulation exercise for rapid evacuation and behavior in crisis situations was conducted today, showcasing the measures for protection and rescue and the procedures of the field services in the event of a fire. Police officers from the Police Station in Negotino, in collaboration with the Fire Protection and Rescue Service of Negotino and the Red Cross in Negotino, along with students and school staff, conducted an exercise on the theme "Behavior in Crisis Situations," and after the exercise, traffic rules and regulations were emphasized to the students when they are in the role of pedestrians. In the municipalities of Negotino, Demir Kapija, Probistip, and Vinica, preventive activities under the theme "Police and Citizens Together" were also carried out today, during which police officers advised citizens on how to protect themselves from various types of property crimes, while police officers from the Police Station in Kavadarci conducted a preventive activity on the theme "Protection from Phone Scams," urging citizens to be cautious when communicating with unknown individuals and advising them on how to protect themselves from this type of fraud.
