Today (April 27, 2026) in Čaška, police officers from the Čaška Police Station conducted a preventive-educational activity on the theme "Wear a Helmet." The goal of the activity is to enhance traffic culture by reminding individuals of the rules and responsibilities for careful and responsible participation in traffic, with an emphasis on the safety of moped and motorcycle riders. Drivers were reminded of the obligation to wear a protective helmet, both for themselves and for their passengers. As part of the activity, printed educational materials were distributed, created in collaboration with the National Council for Road Safety and the Faculty of Security in Skopje. In Štip, police officers from the Štip Police Station for Public Safety conducted a preventive activity titled "Buckle Up," engaging directly with citizens, particularly drivers, to emphasize the necessity of adhering to traffic rules and regulations, especially regarding the use of seat belts as a key factor for greater personal safety for drivers and other road users.
Additionally, in Štip, a preventive activity for protection against property crimes was carried out, during which citizens were given useful advice on how to protect themselves from such criminal acts through direct communication.
On April 27, 2026, at the Municipal Secondary Technical School in Gostivar, police officers from the Prevention Department and the Gostivar Police Station, along with representatives from the OSCE Mission, conducted an educational activity as part of a campaign to raise public awareness about preventing the misuse of small and easily accessible weapons. The educational lecture was delivered with an interactive approach, aiming to raise awareness among the younger population regarding the consequences and legal implications if they become involved in such deviant behaviors.
