Today (April 29, 2026) in Berovo and Viniča, police officers from the Berovo and Viniča Police Stations conducted preventive-educational activities aimed at protecting against property crimes. In direct communication, especially with the older population, the police officers provided useful advice to citizens on how to protect themselves and their homes from property crimes and emphasized the importance of reporting any suspicious cases to the police. Additionally, in Sveti Nikole, police officers from the Sveti Nikole Police Station carried out a preventive-educational activity on the theme "Flames are Unstoppable."
As part of the activity, measures were highlighted that should be taken to protect forests, as the greatest national treasure, from fires. It was also emphasized that greater cooperation and timely reporting to the police of any instances of irresponsible behavior by citizens, such as starting fires, especially in open spaces and near forested areas, is essential for the prompt and effective response of all institutions.
