On April 29, 2026, police officers from the Prevention Unit and the Police Station for Public Safety in Veles conducted a traffic preventive activity at several locations in Veles, aimed at raising the level of traffic culture, with a particular emphasis on the need for drivers to be aware of not operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol, considering that alcohol significantly impairs driving skills, disrupts psychomotor abilities, and poses a serious threat to their safety and that of other road users.
Police officers from the Police Station for Public Safety in Delcevo, on the other hand, today (April 30, 2026) in Delcevo carried out preventive activities on the themes "Don't use your mobile phone" and "Buckle up," during which drivers were informed about the dangers of using a mobile phone while operating a vehicle, as well as the necessity of wearing a seatbelt, both for drivers and passengers.
As part of the preventive activities, printed educational materials were distributed, created in collaboration with the National Council for Road Traffic Safety and the Faculty of Security in Skopje.
