Today (March 25, 2026) in Negotino and Delchevo, police officers from the Negotino Police Station and the Delchevo Police Station conducted preventive activities under the theme "Protect Your Home." Citizens were informed on how to safeguard themselves from various forms of theft and fraud, to avoid becoming victims of such criminal acts.
Police officers from the Veles Traffic Police Station carried out a preventive activity titled "Both You and I Are Pedestrians," aimed at reminding drivers of the necessity to adhere to all traffic rules and regulations, particularly the importance of yielding to pedestrians at crosswalks. Traffic preventive activities were also conducted today by police officers from the Kavadarci Traffic Police Station and the Stip, Delchevo, and Berovo Traffic Police Stations under the theme "Park Responsibly." As part of the preventive activities, printed educational materials were distributed.
Police officers from the Prevention Department at the Skopje Police Directorate held an educational workshop as part of the national campaign against the misuse of small and light weapons titled "Life Has No Restart – Weapons Are Not a Game" at the "Jan Amos Comenius" Primary School. The campaign aims to raise awareness among youth and educate them about the dangers associated with small and light weapons, familiarize them with legal regulations, as well as prevent violence and encourage responsible behavior. At the "Lazo Angelovski" Primary School, a preventive activity titled "Stop Violence" was conducted.
Police officers from the Ministry of Interior in Skopje and Štip conducted preventive activities in Skopje, Probištip, Berovo, and Vinica under the theme "There is hope for a life without violence – Don't be a silent witness." In direct communication with citizens, they explained ways to prevent domestic violence and the availability of services for assistance and protection in case they become victims of violence. They also highlighted what citizens can do if they find themselves in a situation where they witness a certain type of violence. The police officers emphasized the importance of promptly reporting all forms of violence, and they distributed printed educational materials.
Meanwhile, police officers from the Regional Center for Public Safety East conducted a preventive activity at the primary school "Vančo Kitanov" in the village of Crnik on the topic "Human trafficking – how to protect ourselves."
