Today (March 24, 2026) in Negotino, police officers from the Police Station for Public Safety Negotino conducted a preventive activity themed "Drive Consciously, Drive Responsibly." As part of the activity, drivers were reminded of the importance of strictly adhering to traffic rules and regulations, aimed at increasing safety and reducing the number of traffic accidents. In the Tetovo area, police officers from the Prevention Department at the Tetovo Police Directorate carried out a preventive activity focused on the safety of pedestrians, one of the most vulnerable categories of road users, regarding their obligations and responsibilities while participating in traffic. Among other things, they reminded citizens that they must cross the street at designated pedestrian crossings, refrain from using mobile phones and headphones while crossing the street, and respect all traffic rules and regulations. In Probishtip, police officers from the Police Station for Public Safety Probishtip informed citizens about the necessity of using seat belts in vehicles, as well as proper parking.
Police officers from the Štip Police Directorate, the Kavadarci Police Station, and the Negotino Police Station, in Kavadarci, Negotino, Sveti Nikole, Delchevo, and Probishtip, conducted preventive activities under the theme "Don't Be a Silent Witness," aiming to proactively address the prevention of any form of gender-based violence. As part of the activities, citizens were informed about the availability of services for assistance, protection, and temporary shelter, and in direct communication, they were given guidance and advice on what to do if they find themselves in a situation to witness a certain type of violence, directing them to the procedures and actions to take in such cases.
Police officers from the Prevention Department of the SVR Veles conducted a preventive activity on the topic of "Prevention of Begging," providing guidance and advice for citizens to refrain from giving money to those who beg. They urged everyone to report any observed cases of begging, especially by children on the streets, to the relevant institutions for their protection and full integration into society.
