Drivers were also reminded that, with the increased number of tourists transiting through the country along the A1 motorway and travelling hundreds of kilometres toward holiday destinations, it is especially important to take regular breaks and follow recommendations for safe driving.
Police officers from the Traffic Police Department of the Kavadarci Police Station conducted a road safety campaign focused on raising awareness among drivers about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol. Participants were reminded of the rules and obligations for careful and responsible participation in traffic, particularly the mandatory use of protective helmets.

Educational printed materials were distributed as part of the campaign.
