Today (May 27, 2026) in Sveti Nikole, Probishtip, and Berovo, police officers from the Police Department in Štip conducted preventive activities with motorcyclists, aiming to enhance the level of traffic culture by reminding them of traffic rules, regulations, and obligations for careful and responsible participation in traffic, as well as increasing the safety of moped and motorcycle riders, particularly regarding the use of protective helmets. In Štip, preventive activities titled "Don't Use Your Mobile Phone" and "Buckle Up" were implemented, during which drivers were informed about the dangers of using a mobile phone while operating a vehicle, as well as the necessity of wearing a seatbelt by both drivers and passengers. As part of the preventive activities, printed educational materials were also distributed.
An educational workshop in the field of traffic was conducted by the Prevention Department of the Police Department in Skopje at the Primary School "Partenija Zografski," while children from the kindergarten "World of Colores" were guests at the Police Station in Karposh. Police officers from the Police Department in Skopje also held meetings with parents at several schools on the topics of violence, addictions, and other deviant phenomena.
