Today (August 13, 2026), police officers from the Prevention Department of the Tetovo Police Department conducted a preventive activity themed "Wear a Helmet," aimed at riders of mopeds, motorcycles, and electric scooters, reminding them of the obligation and necessity to wear a protective helmet, emphasizing that every participant in traffic is equally responsible for their own safety as well as for the safety of all other participants in traffic. Preventive activities for safe traffic were also carried out by police officers from the Štip Police Department in Kočani, Štip, Probištip, and Delčevo. These activities aim to increase the level of traffic culture and reduce the number of traffic accidents.
The Prevention Department at the Kumanovo Police Department, on the other hand, conducted a preventive activity to inform citizens on how to protect themselves from fraud, especially when purchasing firewood. Citizens were advised to be cautious, especially if someone offers them firewood at significantly lower prices, as they may fall victim to a scam, meaning they might not receive the wood they paid for.
