The Prevention Unit at the Police Department of Veles today (February 6, 2026) conducted preventive-educational activities in the villages of Melnica, Lisice, Drenovo, Gorno, and Dolno Jabolchishte, in the municipality of Chashka, aimed at protecting against property crimes and fraud. Police officers informed residents through direct communication on how to protect themselves from theft and scams, as well as the dangers of using pyrotechnics and firearms, along with the legal implications they may face for violating legal regulations. Educational materials were also distributed and printed. Such preventive activities were carried out at several locations in Stip as well.
In the areas of Tetovo and Sveti Nikole, police officers from the Prevention Unit at the Police Department of Tetovo and the Police Station of Sveti Nikole conducted preventive activities as part of the campaign "We Are All Pedestrians - Responsible at the Crosswalk." Through direct communication and the distribution of leaflets with educational content, police officers acquainted citizens with the traffic rules and regulations pertaining to pedestrians and the necessity of fully adhering to them to protect this most vulnerable group of road users. In Kochani, police officers from the Police Station for Public Safety in Kochani carried out a preventive activity to inform citizens about the consequences of using a mobile phone while driving, while in Delchevo, the emphasis was placed on the need for proper parking.
