Today (February 5, 2026), police officers from the Prevention Unit of the Police Department of Strumica and the Strumica Police Station conducted an educational lecture on the topic "Safety of Young Pedestrians" with students from the Primary School "Vidoe Podgorec" in the village of Kolesino, Strumica region. Through presentations and educational materials, the police officers acquainted the students with the basic traffic rules essential for their safe participation in traffic as pedestrians or riders of bicycles and scooters. Such lectures were also held yesterday with students from the first to the fifth grade in primary schools in the villages of Mokrino and Mokrievo, Strumica region.
Today, police officers from the Traffic Safety Police Station in Kočani also carried out a preventive activity in the field of traffic, emphasizing the need for regular vehicle servicing and checking their technical condition. In Berovo and Vinica, preventive-educational activities for protection against theft and fraud were conducted, during which police officers informed citizens on how to protect themselves from various types and forms of theft and fraud. As part of the activities, printed educational materials were also distributed.
In the territory of the Police Department of Skopje, police officers from the Prevention Unit of the Police Department of Skopje and police officers from the Kiselava Voda Police Station, the Đorče Petrov Police Station, and the Šuto Orizari Police Station conducted educational workshops in three primary schools on the topics "Safety in Schools," "Prevention of Violence through Social Media," and "Prevention of Human Trafficking." During the educational workshops, police officers informed students about ways to recognize, report, and prevent these phenomena. The primary goal of the workshops is to improve student safety and reduce all forms of violence.
