Preventive activities by the Regional Police Departments of Veles and Stip for safe traffic and protection against fraud and theft

 Today (February 4, 2026), police officers from the Prevention Unit of the Regional Police Departments of Veles and Stip carried out preventive activities for safe traffic, as well as for protection against fraud and theft. In Veles, the police officers emphasized the safety of pedestrians in traffic, while in Kochani, they highlighted the need for regular vehicle maintenance and checking their technical condition. In the villages of Otovica, Ivankovci, Mamutchево, and Sojaklari in the Veles region, as well as in Berovo and Vinica, preventive-educational activities were conducted to protect against theft and fraud, during which the police officers informed the residents of these areas on how to safeguard themselves from various types and forms of theft and fraud. As part of the activities, educational materials were also distributed and printed.
