On 02.02.2026, police officers from the Prevention Department at SVR Skopje carried out preventive activities at several locations in the municipality of Kisela Voda, under the motto “Use Winter Equipment.” Through direct communication and distribution of educational leaflets, citizens were reminded of the importance of complying with traffic rules and regulations in order to increase road safety, especially regarding the use of winter equipment, which is mandatory in the period from 15 November 2025 to 15 March 2026.
Additionally, in the areas of Kisela Voda and Centar, preventive activities related to property crimes were carried out under the slogan “Do Not Leave Valuables in Your Vehicle.” Drivers were advised not to leave valuable items in their parked vehicles, as they may become targets for theft.
During today (03.02.2026), police officers from SVR Shtip conducted preventive activities in Sveti Nikole, Probishtip, and Berovo in the field of traffic safety. The need to comply with traffic rules and regulations was emphasized in order to increase road safety, particularly regarding the use of winter equipment. Drivers were also warned about the harmful consequences that may occur when driving under the influence of alcohol, as well as when using a mobile phone while driving.
Police officers from the Eastern Regional Border Affairs Center carried out preventive activities in the villages of Crnik, Pančarevo, Trabotivishte, and Virche, aimed at preventing illegal hunting, as well as protecting the population from low temperatures.
