Today (December 23, 2025), police officers from the Prevention Unit of the Police Department of Veles, along with a medical professional from the General Hospital of Veles, conducted a preventive-educational activity as part of the campaign "No Pyrotechnics for Safer Holidays," aimed at eighth and ninth-grade students in the primary schools "Panko Brashnarov" and "Vasil Glavinov" in Veles. The lectures emphasized that the use of pyrotechnics poses a dangerous risk to health, especially for children, and can lead to severe and lasting injuries and health consequences. It was also highlighted that the sale and use of pyrotechnics are strictly regulated by law, and penalties are imposed on those who violate these regulations. The goal of the educational lectures is to raise awareness about the dangers of using pyrotechnics in anticipation of the New Year’s celebrations.
In Probistip, police officers from the Probistip Internal Affairs Department of the Police Department of Stip carried out preventive activities in the area of traffic, primarily to discourage driving under the influence of alcohol and to promote the use of seat belts. Along with useful advice through direct
