Today (December 22, 2025), police officers from the Prevention Unit of the Police Department of Strumica, together with doctors from the University Clinic for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, conducted an educational lecture to raise awareness about the harmful consequences of using pyrotechnic materials with eighth and ninth-grade students at the Primary School "Vidoe Podgorec" in Strumica. A similar lecture, together with a doctor from the clinic, was also conducted by police officers from the Police Station in Radoviš with first-year students from the Secondary School "Kosta Susinov" in Radoviš. The children were informed about the harmful consequences that the use of pyrotechnic materials can cause, as well as the legal provisions that impose penalties on those who illegally sell, acquire, or use pyrotechnic materials. In the area of Valandovo, a preventive activity was carried out regarding the mandatory use of winter equipment in vehicles.
Educational lectures aimed at raising awareness about the harmful consequences of using pyrotechnic materials were also conducted today in the area of the Police Department of Štip, specifically at the Primary School "Kiril and Metodij" and the Secondary School "Mile Janevski Džingar" in Macedonian Kamenica, at the Primary School "Kiril and Metodij" in Sveti Nikole, and at the kindergarten "Joyful Flowers" in Delčevo, as well as in various primary and secondary schools within the jurisdiction of the Police Department of Ohrid.
