Today (21.12.2025), police officers from the Prevention Department of SVR Tetovo and the Galate Police Unit, in cooperation with the Forest Police and the Public Enterprise “National Forests” – Gostivar Branch, organized and carried out preventive activities in several locations in the area of the Municipality of Vrapchishte, focusing on the protection of forests from illegal logging and forest fires.
Under the motto “Forests are our greatest wealth,” through direct communication with citizens and a series of meetings, police officers emphasized the importance of preventing illegal logging and forest fires, as well as the harmful consequences arising from such phenomena.
During the meetings, punishable legal provisions were also highlighted, and citizens were provided with educational printed materials containing informative content, with the aim of raising awareness about the need to preserve and nurture the forest fund.
