Today (May 24, 2026), at several locations in the central urban area of Tetovo, police officers from the Prevention Unit of the Tetovo Police Department conducted a preventive activity aimed at raising traffic culture and safety among cyclists and individuals operating electric scooters.
The activity was carried out to enhance public awareness and increase the safety of all traffic participants. During this, citizens were given advice and recommendations for safe participation in traffic, with a special emphasis on wearing protective helmets, adhering to traffic rules, and exercising increased caution when riding bicycles and electric scooters. As part of the activity, educational flyers were distributed with the messages: "A helmet on your head provides safety and security" and "A cyclist rides safely with a responsible attitude," created in collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Red Cross, and the Faculty of Security.
