Throughout today, inspectors for prevention at the Regional Border Management Center West carried out preventive activities in both the area of the National Park "Galichica" and the city of Ohrid, as well as along the road leading to Albania. Specifically, citizens, especially participants in the event organized by Ohrid Ultra-Trail, were informed about preventive measures aimed at fire protection, safe traffic, and strengthening trust and cooperation with the police. In this context, a meeting was held with representatives of the Red Cross, part of the event organizers. Several locations within the jurisdiction of the border police were also visited, where participants were reminded to respect the border line while moving during the race.
The organizers of the event presented the Regional Border Management Center West with a certificate of appreciation for its active participation in preventive activities on the ground, as well as for the cooperation between the police, the local population, citizens, and foreigners. Our goal is to serve the citizens with trust and dignity.
