Today (September 8, 2026), police officers from the Prevention Unit at the Tetovo Police Department conducted a preventive activity under the motto "A helmet on your head ensures safety and security." The activity took place before and during the cycling race traditionally held every year in celebration of Independence Day on September 8, organized by Halk Bank AD Skopje. During this event, participants in the cycling race were handed out flyers with educational content prepared by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Road Safety Agency, and the Faculty of Security in Skopje.
On September 8, 2026, at the toll booth in Petrovec, the Prevention Department of the Skopje Police, in collaboration with the Road Safety Agency, conducted a preventive educational activity as part of the campaigns "Safe City" and "Safe Summer, Drive Rested." The primary goal of the activity was to enhance the safety culture among citizens, as well as to strengthen trust and cooperation between the police and the public.
Specifically, during the activity, direct communication with all traffic participants emphasized the need for full compliance with traffic rules and regulations. Additionally, drivers were provided with educational materials containing informative content.
