Today (15.01.2026), police officers from the Štip Sector for Internal Affairs carried out preventive traffic-related activities at several locations within the territory of SIA Štip.
In Sveti Nikole, police officers from the Sveti Nikole Police Department, within the framework of the preventive campaign under the motto “Use Winter Equipment”, through direct communication and distribution of educational leaflets, emphasized to drivers the need to comply with traffic rules and regulations in order to increase road safety—especially regarding the use of winter equipment. This obligation is in force from 15 November 2025 to 15 March 2026. Drivers were also informed about the sanctions prescribed for non-compliance with the law.
Additionally, in Makedonska Kamenica, police officers from the Makedonska Kamenica Police Station carried out a preventive activity under the motto “Do Not Drive a Passenger Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol.” During the activity, drivers were informed about the harmful consequences that may occur when operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
In Delčevo, police officers from the Delčevo Police Department informed citizens about the legal obligation to use seat belts and the fact that seat belt use significantly reduces the consequences in the event of a traffic accident.
