On 21 July 2026, the Prevention Department of the Skopje Police Department (SVR Skopje) carried out preventive and educational campaigns within the jurisdictions of the Saraj Police Unit and the Centar Police Station, focusing on fire prevention and theft prevention. During the activities, citizens received educational leaflets containing recommendations on preventing open-air fires, as well as advice not to leave valuable items inside parked vehicles in order to avoid attracting criminals and reduce the risk of vehicle break-ins and theft.
On the same day, police officers from the Prevention Unit of the Veles Police Department (SVR Veles) conducted a road safety campaign in the Veles area under the slogan "Drive Safely – Use a Technically Roadworthy Vehicle." The campaign aimed to raise road safety awareness, with particular emphasis on the importance of regular vehicle maintenance and technical roadworthiness as essential prerequisites for safe participation in traffic.
A preventive campaign was also conducted by police officers from the Negotino Police Department in the villages of Dubrovo and Tremnik, as well as in Demir Kapija, under the theme "Flames Are Unstoppable." In addition, on 20 July 2026, traffic police officers from the Kavadarci Road Traffic Safety Unit carried out a preventive activity under the slogan "Alcohol and Driving Don't Mix." The objective was to promote responsible driving and increase public awareness of the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol. As part of the campaign, educational materials prepared in cooperation with the Republic Council for Road Traffic Safety (RCRTS) and the Faculty of Security – Skopje were distributed to road users.
On 21 July 2026, preventive activities were also implemented within the jurisdiction of the Shtip Police Department (SVR Shtip), specifically in Delchevo and Berovo.
In Delchevo, police officers organized a campaign entitled "We Are All Pedestrians," aimed at improving traffic culture, encouraging respect for traffic rules and regulations, and strengthening trust and cooperation between the police and the local community.
Meanwhile, in Berovo, a joint preventive activity was carried out in cooperation with the Territorial Firefighting Unit, the Public Enterprise National Forests, and the Regional Crisis Management Centre under the theme "Let's Protect Ourselves from Open-Air Fires." During the campaign, educational leaflets were distributed and police officers engaged directly with citizens, providing practical advice on preventing and reducing the risk of forest and open-air fires.
