Today (November 19, 2025), in the premises of SVR Veles, organized by the Prevention Department of SVR Veles, a preventive-educational activity was held for the children from the kindergarten "Dimche Mirchev" in Veles. The preschool children, through direct communication and friendship, learned about the importance of the police officer profession and its significance for the safety of citizens, as well as the work of traffic police and the importance of traffic rules.
Additionally, the children had the opportunity to see some of the technical equipment, gear, and vehicles that police officers use in their daily duties. The aim of these activities is to bring the police closer to the children as the youngest category of citizens and to foster acceptance of police officers as friends who care for their safety. In recognition of the successful collaboration, SVR Veles received a letter of appreciation from the management team of the kindergarten, and in the upcoming period, a series of educational activities are planned to be implemented.
