“Consequences of Driving a Technically Defective Vehicle”, “Together With Responsible Road Behavior Let’s Contribute to Roads Without Victims”, “Winter Campaign”, “Let’s Protect Children in Traffic” – Preventive Activities by...

Today (21.11.2025) and during the previous day, police officers from the Police Station for Road Traffic Safety at SVR Bitola – OVR Resen carried out a preventive activity at several locations in the city, on the topic “Consequences of driving a technically defective vehicle.” The aim of the activity is to raise awareness about the importance of operating technically sound vehicles and the significance of regular vehicle inspections and maintenance. Analyses show that vehicle technical condition is an important factor influencing overall road safety. Regular maintenance and technical inspections contribute to improving traffic culture and reducing the risk of traffic accidents.

Additionally, police officers in the Resen area held several workshops with students at the “Tsar Samoil” Secondary School, focusing on increased attentiveness and prevention of violence in schools. Educational materials were distributed during the activities.

Today (21.11.2025), police officers from the Traffic Safety Police Unit at OVR Negotino, together with the Municipal Council for Road Traffic Safety, conducted a preventive activity at several locations in the city titled “Together with responsible behavior in traffic, let’s contribute to roads without victims.” The activity aims to raise traffic culture and drivers’ awareness of the importance of responsible and safe vehicle operation to reduce the number of casualties in traffic accidents. Through direct communication, drivers were reminded of the necessity for conscientious and responsible driving, as well as their obligation to respect traffic laws and regulations.

Today (21.11.2025), within the comprehensive campaigns to promote traffic culture, in the area of PSON Chair, the Prevention Department at SVR Skopje, in cooperation with the RSRSP, held a preventive and educational traffic activity for drivers titled “Winter Campaign.” The event was organized by the RSRSP and the Prevention Department with the aim of raising safety awareness for responsible and safe participation in traffic, especially among drivers. Educational materials in the form of leaflets with practical safety tips were distributed.

Today (21.11.2025), police officers from the Police Station Sveti Nikole held a lecture at the “Goce Delchev” Elementary School in Sveti Nikole on the topic “Let’s protect children in traffic.” Through a specially prepared presentation, children were introduced to basic traffic rules and proper behavior as participants in traffic, both as pedestrians and especially when riding bicycles.

Additionally, a preventive activity was carried out at several locations in Probishtip under the motto “Do not use your mobile phone while crossing the street,” where pedestrians were advised to always cross at marked pedestrian crossings and not to use mobile phones, headphones, or tablets while crossing. In line with recent amendments to the Law on Road Safety, pedestrians may be sanctioned for using electronic devices that may distract their attention in traffic.же да бидат санкционирани, односно да не користат електронски уреди кои може да им го одвлекуваат вниманието во сообраќајот.
