Today (06 June 2026), police officers from the Prevention Department of the Skopje Internal Affairs Sector carried out a preventive activity in the area covered by the Gjorche Petrov Police Station, focused on wildfire and fire prevention.
During conversations with citizens, the police officers emphasized the need for maximum responsibility and care in protecting forest resources. Citizens were also informed that causing a fire is a criminal offense and is subject to legal sanctions in accordance with the law.
In addition, citizens were provided with printed educational materials prepared in cooperation with the Public Enterprise “National Forests.”
