Today (2 July 2026), police officers from several organizational units of the Ministry of Interior carried out preventive and educational activities aimed at protecting citizens' property, preventing fires, and improving road safety.
In Veles, Negotino, and Skopje, officers conducted a campaign under the slogan "Do Not Leave Valuable Items in Your Vehicle", reminding citizens of the importance of safeguarding their property and acting responsibly when parking their vehicles.
In Štip, Sveti Nikole, Probištip, Bogomila, and Rosoman, preventive activities focused on wildfire prevention and combating illegal logging. Citizens were encouraged to behave responsibly and promptly report negligent or unlawful actions that could endanger the environment.
In Kočani, Štip, and Skopje, road safety campaigns promoted responsible parking, the safe use of electric scooters, bicycles, and motorcycles, and greater protection for pedestrians.
As part of all the activities, educational materials were distributed to citizens with the aim of raising public awareness and strengthening the culture of safety.
