On 10 July 2026, police officers from the Skopje Sector of Internal Affairs arrested O.A. (41) from Skopje on suspicion of committing two criminal offences: robbery and aggravated theft by robbery, under Articles 237 and 238 of the Criminal Code.
According to the investigation, the first offence was committed on 12 June 2026 on Dimitar Vlahov Quay, where O.A., together with two other individuals, physically assaulted a 38-year-old man and stole his bicycle and wallet containing cash and personal documents.
The second offence was committed on 10 July 2026 on Kocho Racin Boulevard, where the suspect used physical force and threatened a 45-year-old woman with a sharp object before stealing her wallet containing cash and personal documents.
Following the full documentation of the case, the Centre and Bit Pazar Unit of the Skopje Sector of Internal Affairs will submit a criminal complaint to the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Skopje under an expedited procedure.
