Based on information from the Macedonian police, an international police operation was conducted in Durrës, Albania, resulting in the detention of M.J. (26), born in Skopje, and S.N. (34), born in Norway, both members of the organized crime group "Belanoca," for whom Interpol has issued international warrants for criminal offenses including "murder," "attempted murder," "serious bodily injury," "unauthorized production, possession, and trafficking of weapons or explosive materials," and "criminal association."
During the arrest, the individuals were found to possess forged identification documents, which are suspected to have been used to leave the territory of our state and evade justice. The operation is the result of several months of cooperation between the Macedonian police, the American Diplomatic Security Service (DSS), and the security authorities of Albania.
