During the past 24 hours, police officers across the country detained 12 drivers for “reckless driving.” Of these, 10 were driving without a valid driving licence, including two minors.
One driver was driving under the influence of alcohol, while another was driving despite having an active driving ban.
Following the full documentation of the cases, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We appeal to all road users to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to drive without passing a driving test, not to drive while under a driving ban, and never to drive under the influence of alcohol. Together, we can contribute to safer roads.
