During yesterday, police officers across the entire territory of the country deprived seven drivers of their liberty for operating a vehicle without possessing a driver’s license. Two of them were in Skopje, and one each in Gevgelija, Bogdanci, Gostivar, Tetovo, and Bitola. The driver in Gostivar is a minor, as well as one of the drivers in Skopje, who was operating a motorcycle.
The individuals were taken to a police station, and following instructions from a public prosecutor, the vehicles were seized. After full documentation of the cases, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We appeal to all road users to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to operate vehicles without having passed a driving exam, not to drive if a driving ban has been imposed, or if under the influence of alcohol, and together to contribute to safer traffic.
