Throughout yesterday, police officers across the entire territory of the state detained four drivers, two for driving under the influence of alcohol, one for driving with a ban on operating a Category B vehicle, and one for operating a vehicle without a driver's license. Meanwhile, a minor was called to the police station, where a formal conversation was held regarding driving a vehicle without a driver's license.
A driver in Kavadarci and a minor in Struga operated a vehicle without a driver's license. One driver in Veles operated a vehicle despite having a ban on operating a Category B motor vehicle, and one driver each in the municipalities of Staro Nagorichane and Gevgelija drove under the influence of alcohol. The driver in Gevgelija also caused a traffic accident. After the complete documentation of the cases, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We appeal to all participants in traffic to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to operate a vehicle without having passed the driving test, or if they have been issued a ban on driving, or if they are under the influence of alcohol, and together we can contribute to safer traffic.
