On May 22, 2026, at around 10:25 PM, a 33-year-old woman from Skopje reported to the Skopje Police Department that around 9:00 PM, in the family home in the Skopje area, she was physically attacked by her 39-year-old husband following a prior argument.
On May 22, 2026, at 4:30 PM, police officers from the Skopje Police Department detained I.I. (50) from the Skopje area, acting on a previous report from his 46-year-old wife that he physically attacked her around 8:00 AM in their family home after a prior argument.
On May 23, 2026, at 6:00 AM, police officers from the Negotino Police Station detained I.A. (18) from Negotino, following a previous report from his 36-year-old mother that he physically attacked her and threatened both her and his minor brother. He was held at the police station, and a public prosecutor and the Negotino Center for Social Work were notified.
On May 22, 2026, at 8:30 PM, a 43-year-old woman from Skopje reported to the Skopje Police Department that around 3:00 PM, her husband, with whom she does not live and with whom she has a strained relationship, physically attacked her and their minor daughter.
On May 22, 2026, at 11:35 PM, police officers from the Vinica Police Station detained N.P. (37) from a village near Vinica, acting on a previous report that he physically attacked his 22-year-old wife in their family home along with his mother.
Measures are being taken to clarify the cases, and after their complete documentation, appropriate reports will be filed against the perpetrators.
