Today, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Panche Toskoski, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the "Frosina Kulakova" Foundation, established in honor of Frosina Kulakova, who tragically lost her life at a pedestrian crossing on "Partizanski Odredi" Boulevard while crossing on a green light.
The memorandum establishes a framework for joint cooperation aimed at enhancing traffic safety, raising public awareness, strengthening preventive mechanisms, and improving the institutional treatment of victims and their families.
"This represents a shared commitment to ensure that tragedies do not repeat, that human life is the highest priority, and that institutions, together with the civil sector, create a stronger and more effective system of prevention, protection, and support," emphasized Minister Toskoski.
As part of the cooperation, joint campaigns will be organized to raise awareness about traffic safety, strengthen preventive mechanisms, support victims and their families, as well as enhance trust in institutional procedures.
"We continue with the implementation and upgrading of the Safe City system, as well as with new preventive policies aimed at timely recognition of risks and saving human lives," Toskoski stressed.
The minister reminded that the tragic traffic accident that occurred last night on the Skopje bypass once again confirms the need for responsible behavior in traffic and adherence to traffic rules.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs remains committed to creating modern and effective policies for greater safety for all traffic participants and protecting human life as the highest value.
