The Minister of Internal Affairs, Panche Toskoski, today held a meeting with the Acting Ambassador of the United States to Macedonia, H.E. Nicole Varns.
During the meeting, the mutual commitment to further solidify the strategic partnership between the two countries was reaffirmed, as well as the continuation of intensive cooperation in key areas of shared interest.
The interlocutors discussed deepening cooperation in the fields of security, the rule of law, and addressing contemporary security challenges, with particular emphasis on the outcomes of the recent working visit to the United States and the strategic dialog held in Washington.
It was noted that bilateral cooperation between the two countries is proceeding at a high level, with the partnership with the United States representing a significant contribution to enhancing security capacities and stability in the region.
The meeting expressed a shared readiness for further deepening of cooperation and the realization of joint initiatives aimed at strengthening institutional capacities and regional security.
