During the past 24 hours across the entire country, police officers detained 11 drivers for reckless driving. Of these, seven were driving without a valid driver’s license (four in Skopje, two in Tetovo, and one in the Kumanovo area), one driver in Debar was operating a vehicle despite having an active driving ban, and one driver in Bitola was driving under the influence of alcohol. In Gradsko, one person was driving at a speed exceeding the permitted limit, while in Kochani, one person was driving in the opposite direction.
After fully documenting the cases, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We appeal to all traffic participants to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to drive without a valid driver’s license, not to drive if a driving ban has been imposed, or under the influence of alcohol, and together to contribute to safer traffic.
