On 6 August 2026 at 5:00 p.m., police officers from the Skopje Sector of Internal Affairs arrested I.A.L. (34) from Skopje.
Earlier, at approximately 3:10 p.m., on Prolet Street in Skopje, while driving a Daewoo Matiz with Skopje registration plates, he was involved in a traffic accident with a Honda, also bearing Skopje registration plates and driven by D.P. (20) from Skopje. The accident resulted in material damage.
During the investigation and on-site inspection, police officers determined that I.A.L. had been driving under the influence of alcohol. A breath test measured 3.29‰ (per mille) blood alcohol concentration.
The public prosecutor was informed of the incident, and the vehicle was seized. Upon completion of the investigation, appropriate charges will be filed against the suspect.
