A Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Transparency International – Macedonia

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Transparency International – Macedonia have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at enhancing the partnership in the fight against corruption and organized crime.

This Memorandum establishes a framework for joint action, data exchange, and expertise, as well as for implementing activities aimed at increasing transparency and accountability in operations.
The Ministry will collaborate with Transparency International to identify weaknesses in the system, improve mechanisms for the prevention and detection of corrupt practices, and develop joint programs and training for integrity and professional conduct.

The signing of this document represents a confirmation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' ongoing commitment to building an institutional system based on the rule of law, transparency, and zero tolerance for corruption.
